Infosys cricket: Rs. 150000 prizes

Leading technology powerhouse Infosys launched a T-20 cricket tournament on Oct 15 for 24 Engineering colleges in Bangalore and Mysore.  According to Infosys: “The event provides an opportunity for Infoscions to interact with prospective IT professionals with the aim of fostering team-work among them”.  With T-20s growing popularity this event would strengthen the company’s relationship with the prestigious engineering colleagues in this region.

The first cricket game, between NIE, Mysore and SJCE, Mysore was held at the Infosys Mysore Cricket Ground on October 15.  46 cricket matches will be held over a month to select the T-20 Champions.

The winner will be awarded a whopping Rs. 75,000.  Runners up gets Rs. 50,000 and third place wins you Rs. 25,000
