Aegis BPO:  H K Arora promoted

Aegis BPO has 39,000 employees based in 42 delivery centers and looking after 135 clients.  Head quartered in Mumbai,  Aegis has call centres in India, Philippines, US, Costa Rica, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Australia, Kenya and South Africa. Aegis, ranked eighth by NASSCOM among the top BPO exporters in India, is experiencing a growth spurt in a number of its centres.

Techgoss had learnt that the Aegis Vice President and Head of India Domestic Operations, H K Arora, has been promoted to EVP (Operations) India Domestic as well as Sri Lanka.  H K Arora is an electrical engineer from the YMCA Institute of Engineering and has also done a one year Executive Management program at IIM C.

Prior to joining Aegis in 2008, the highly regarded H K Arora was Vice President, Operations and Collections at GE Money.  His past work history includes AVP at GE Capital International Services, Zonal Service Manager – North at Wipro GE Medical Systems and Regional HR & Quality Manager at Xerox Modicorp.

According to an insider, H K Arora’s promotion was fast tracked and announced to Aegis employees in early May, 2010 because he had been given a matching offer to leave Aegis.
