Sparsh BPO:  New Vice President
By Techgirl

After the recent turbulence at the Barclays Bank India Process in Sparsh, a new Vice President has been recruited and has joined since the past week. Vijay Venkatesh, the Vice President of Sparsh BPO Services handling  the Barclays process in the West and South,  has begun the handover of the Barclays Process to the new Vice President Arindam

Buffeted by severe attrition, the premiere banking process moving out to Sparsh premises in New Delhi, credit card scams, a manager with illness and the newest malaise the graduation certificate scam, management of Sparsh BPO services decided enough is enough and have brought in a full time Vice President into the process.

The dramas in the Barclays process have strained the working relationship between Sparsh BPO COO Radhika Balasubramanian and her favorite employee Vijay Venkatesh.  All the signs are that Vijay is falling out of favour.

According to a Sparsh Team Leader, this could mean difficult times ahead for the AGM of the Mumbai center Jeffrey D'souza.  According to this Team Leader, the Mumbai Center has management with very strong views on how to run things which would always be a hurdle for any new VP looking to rejuvenate the ailing process.

Techgoss note: Sparsh is the domestic subsidiary of Intelenet Global Services (P) Ltd.  It offers state of the art solutions to Vertical Industries to meet their voice and BPO needs.  Sparsh currently has 5200 seats operating 24 by 7, and has the potential to scale up to 20,000 thousand seats by next year
