TS’s Inaugural Graduation Ceremony
By Sameer

TalentSprint (TS) held its inaugural Graduation Ceremony on July 5 at the Indian School of Business (ISB) Hyderabad campus to felicitate 168 ‘Sprint’ graduates who graduated this quarter. These graduates underwent experiential learning programs in Software Testing and Software Engineering. More than 85% of these graduates now work with large multinational corporations.

Companies which hired these graduates include AppLabs, Polaris, MITS, Virtusa and Ivy Comptech.

US Consul General Cornelis M Keur graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Ajit Rangnekar (Dean, ISB), Srini Raju (Managing Director, Peepul Capital), Sashi Reddi (Chairman, AppLabs), B.V.R. Mohan Reddy (Chairman, Infotech Enterprises) Debashish Ganguly (SVP, Polaris) and Moorthy Uppaluri (GM, Microsoft) were among the other distinguished guests present at the graduation ceremony.

J. A. Chowdary, Executive Chairman at TalentSprint, congratulated the Sprint graduates and said, “We are proud of our trainees and are excited that their hard work has paid off. Our graduates are performing at par with experienced professionals at many of the organizations. Our celebration today is the celebration of endless possibilities and new beginnings for our graduates.”

TalentSprint’s industry programmes create world-class entry-level professionals for the IT and BFSI sectors. The company expects large scale demand for trained and certified fresh graduates. Industry estimates show that there will be a gap of more than 1 lac jobs at the entry level in the banking sector and 1.6 lacs in the IT industry in the coming years.
In his remarks, Santanu Paul, CEO of TalentSprint said, “We are gratified by the affirmation we have received from the industry in terms of business value, social relevance and the quality of our transformation programs. We build long term relationships with our alumni and believe that self learning as well as continuing education is essential for our graduates to build sustainable careers.”

TalentSprint’s fast-track transformation program is experiencing significant growth as students across the city discover the benefits of experiential learning Sprint programmes. These are being conducted at the TalentSprint premises at the IIIT Campus in Hyderabad. Fresh engineering graduates with minimum 60 per cent marks are eligible to apply.
