Aegis hires new AVP Operations

Aegis BPO has 39,000 employees based in 42 delivery centers and looking after 135 clients.  Head quartered in Mumbai, Aegis has call centres in India, Philippines, America, Costa Rica, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Australia, Kenya and South Africa. Aegis, ranked eighth by NASSCOM among the top BPO exporters in India, is experiencing a growth spurt in a number of its centres.

The Techgoss Tipsters have been in overdrive telling us about the recent hires at Aegis.

Aegis has head hunted Dheeraj David to become the AVP Operations at the Airtel Bhopal Centre.  A graduate from St Stephens College, Dheeraj has 11 years experience in the BPO sector.  Before joining Aegis, Dheeraj was Head Process Delivery at MphasiS an HP Company.  At MphasiS, he led a team of 1000 employees managing a key Telecom process.

Aegis has hired Mohit Bhambani to become Manager, Operations where he will be responsible for service delivery for the Videocon process.  Gurgaon based Mohit will report to the Aegis AVP Operations.  Prior to joining Aegis, Mohit was Operations Head at Vkalp which provides HR, training and outsourcing solutions to the IT-ITES and Telecom sectors. Mohit is a Commerce graduate with a PG in Public Relations.

Aegis has also appointed Rananjoy Kar as the Assistant Manager Operations SSTL for West Bengal.  Rananjoy will be reporting to AVP Operations & MIS Analytics, Irsad Ahmed.  In the past, he had a 7 year stint with IBM Daksh and has also worked at Citigroup.
