Chandan Ghosh moves to Aircel

The recent opening up of the Telecom business has been very rewarding for the likes of Chandan.  Highly regarded Chandan Ghosh has moved from Airtel (VP and Chief of ILD) to Aircel (Head ILD, NLD & WiMax).  In a telecon with Chandan, he said that his stint at Airtel has been very rewarding and he has decided to move on since his new job provides a challenging assignment.

Chandan is now very busy setting up the infrastructure for Aircel across its circles. We spoke to him in Gurgaon where he lives with his family, and he was excited that the Delhi roll-out would be completed by December 8.
 
The joke goes around him that he’s not moved too much, and it’s not a suggestion on his big frame.  It’s only over an alphabet - the difference between a ‘t’ gone and a ‘c’ coming between Airtel and Aircel. The good humored Bengali doesn’t mind a joke on him though and is always up for more.
 
You know his airline is too happy that he is busy traveling across India. The family is not. He is looking forward to the time when he will be able to take it a bit easier, but the next 2 months are chock-a-block for him.
