Sharad Tandon shifts to Firstsource
By Sonia Khan

The Manager, Quality, at the Convergys BPO Bangalore Centre,  Mr. Sharad Tandon,  has moved to Firstsource solutions as Deputy General Manager ( DGM) Quality for Domestic  Business. He would be taking care of the Vodafone Business in his new assignment. This business is spread in centres in Kerala, Andhra, West Bengal and Orissa. Mr. Tandon has an excellent track record in the booming BPO industry.

Mr. Sharad Tandon, who has been in Convergys for almost 5 years, has joined Firstsource Solutions at a time when the quality of the Vodafone process as a whole is dwindling, especially in the eastern region.  Mr. Tandon has been responsible for achieving exceptional results in his tenure of five years in Convergys and has stepped in and come aboard in Firstsource with a lot of experience, knowledge of the way an International Call centre process works  and plenty of enthusiasm and ideas for improvement in the system and processes in Firstsource.

Before Convergys, Mr. Tandon had also worked with organizations like GE in Gurgaon and had been in the Indian Army for a very long time. He carries an experience of almost 10 years in the field of Quality.

Mr. Tandon would be based in Bangalore; however he would need to visit from time to time all the Vodafone Centres in Trichy, Kochi, Vijaywada, Kolkata, Siliguri and Bhubaneshwar, which means it would involve a lot travel on his part.
