vCustomer loses respected manager By Pulkit Sharma
vCustomer is a leading provider of customer life cycle management solutions and services. vCustomer manages operations in India, Philippines, UK and USA. vCustomer, on its website, mentions how it is the first company to implement Voip on a CISCO platform. It has 30 marquee clients spread across different industries. vCustomer has just lost one of their key managers.
Seems like all is not well at vCustomer. Despite vCustomer being a very successful company, a senior Regional Head and Associate Director for vCustomer Mumbai, Arthur Gomes, has moved on without an assignment on hand.
Mumbai educated Arthur Gomes is one of the most highly regarded managers in the Indian IT-ITES sector having had successful stints as National Head - Service Delivery: Voice Operations at Shell Transource Ltd, Head Operations AVP at Serco BPO Pvt Ltd as well as COO & Business Head at Godrej Upstream Pvt. Ltd. Before that, Arthur worked at Intelenet BPO
According to one of vCustomer clients, it seems there was a difference of opinion between the popular Arthur Gomes and the Center Head at Mumbai. According to the grape vine, the Center Head is under pressure to keep the revenue flowing in after the exit of a couple of processes.
Mr. Gomes had the courage of conviction to take stock of the situation and realize that it would be best if he quietly moved on. He put in his papers and left in August, 2010.
