2 pcent world on Windows7
By Pulkit Sharma

The new Microsoft operating system Windows 7 will be launched on Oct 22 USA time. It has clever new features like backing up your system over a network, encrypting personal data, watching Internet TV, faster/more secure internet browsing etc.  You can use Windows 7 is 35 languages and if you are not impressed you can even make Windows 7 to look and feel like the popular XP operating system.

By all accounts, Windows 7 is an impressive piece of software.  While many will wait for a few months before upgrading, some are eager to start using it now.

Even before its ‘official’ launch on Oct 22 USA time and subsequent sales in retail stores, Research Company Martketshare Hitslink is reporting that Windows 7 is already being used by 2 percent of the world market.

Quite separately, Amazon USA is reporting that Windows 7 is No 1 in its software best sellers list.  In UK, it has been preordered even more than new books of Harry Potter.
