Intel Manager Game
By Pulkit Sharma

Intel is the dominant chip maker in the world with its product used is most personal computers and laptops. In Oct, 2009, Intel announced third quarter revenue of $9.4 Billion which was the strongest Second-to-Third Quarter Growth in over 30 years.  Its net income for these 3 months was $1.9 Billion. Intel India is one of the jewels of this international company.

Intel has recently launched a computer game ‘IT Manager 3’ which is proving to be a big hit among managers and wannabe managers.  As a player Manager, your mission is to work out the best usage of a company’s computers and networks. As with every engrossing computer game, there are challenges which have to be overcome on the path to a well organized Computer Centre.

On the Game site, Intel lists what the game is all about

Test your IT knowledge
Deploy the latest Intel technologies
Keep the office running smoothly
Build a global IT empire
Create the ultimate network
Be recognised for your achievements

What is interesting is that while the game has 3 separate English versions for UK, US and South Africa and localized languages for Germany, Russia and France, there is no country version for India.
