Exevo loses Greenwich Associates

New York head quartered Exevo is a leading research outsourcing firm with a huge base in India. Early 2010, it started operations in Beijing as well. Exevo describes its niche as providing comprehensive survey programming, data analytics and business research services to Market Research and consulting organizations globally.  Is clients are in USA, Europe and Asia Pacific.

Founded in 2002, Exevo has offices in London and New York and delivery centres in New Delhi and Beijing, China.  It is a 30 percent employee owned company.

Exevo India is on a roll these days.  In a previous article, Techgoss had exclusively reported on how most of its staff was given salary raises in 2010.  But there was more! A Tipster contacted Techgoss to tell us about how Exevo gave everyone a 12 day paid Christmas break.  Because their clients overseas would be taking a break, the Exevo management decided to generously send most of their Indian staff on paid leave.

A Tipster tells Techgoss had Exevo has hit a road bump with the end of a 3 year old relationship with US headquartered Greenwich Associates.  Greenwich Associates had been renewing their contract on an annual basis and Exevo was expecting their business to ramp up.  In anticipation of the expansion, Exevo had even hired a number of people.  Last year, Exevo India got a Greenwich Associates contract for 4500 market surveys and was expecting it to increase to 9000 this year. 

The loss of Greenwich Associates would affect about 40 people at Exevo. The announcement was made when everyone was on Christmas and New Years leave.
