Indian Retweet Club By Techgirl
The first rule of the Fight Club is that you do not talk about the Fight Club.
The second rule of the Indian Retweet Club is that you will be ejected if you do not ‘Tweet 75 percent of the retweet requests’.
So what is this Retweet Club? It is the brainchild of popular Indian blog ‘Shout Me Loud’
How does the Retweet Club work? According to Shout Me Loud: “Members of Retweet Club can share 3 tweet links in a week and all the members will tweet this post. Imagine a post getting retweeted 100+ times and how much traffic it can drive to your blog?”
While respected blog Should Me Loud will be the sole judge on whether a blog can join the club, there are some prerequisites. Your Twitter profile should have at least 100 followers and blog topics should be based on blogging, technology, Wordpress, Software, Tips and tricks and the internet. No affiliate and MMO blogs allowed.
Members can share a maximum of 3 Tweets per week. As mentioned before, any member not retweeting 75% of requests from members of the club, will be politely asked to leave.
What a great idea!
I would have joined the Retweet Club but sadly Twitter has ejected me for breaking one of their rules. And that Twitter rule is that no one criticizes the friends of Twitter management. Twitter has thrown me out of their club for satirizing their special friend Shashi Tharoor whom they describe as a ‘Twitter advocate’ on their official website.
