Tip: DC Head corrupt? By Pulkit Sharma
Techgoss, like many other news sites, gets a large number of story ideas and tips. Many of the story ideas and anonymous tips are backed with hard facts and even documentation. Needless to say, Techgoss guarantees anonymity to all our tipsters.
But sometimes we get anonymous tips which are hard to publish the way they were sent in for the simple reason that there is not enough hard evidence to back up the serious allegations. One such tip is the following (We have censored out the names of the individual and organization for obvious reasons)
“ Mr. X* from tech major Y* is head of Hyderabad DC. He is someone who has had a very bad history from his XIIM days where he had played around with his marks to get into top companies at campus recruitment. After joining Y* Hyderabad he got into land and house dealings (using the information about Y*’s expansion plans). He has a group who start investing in the land before the tech major buys it and they make money. He is also under a scanner with an ex employee of Y* who has purchased a house from him and X* has cheated the guy. The ex-employee is now at a very senior management position in a MNC and is now seeking legal help to get the money back. So how come Y* has not done a proper background check on this guy? “
Mr. Tipster, we need more facts before we can name names. How about sending us some documentation that he sold a house to an ex colleague? Or records that he has investments in property companies.
While we appreciate all tips to Techgoss, we need facts to begin an investigation.
(X* and Y* were names of the individual and company respectively. For obvious reasons their names cannot be published at this point in time)
