3 Generations share blog

I have no connection with my mom who also lives in Mumbai during certain hours of the afternoon and evenings.  It is because mom is glued to weepy TV soap operas like Yeh Rishta, Bidayi, Balika Vadhu and Pavitra Rishta.  I am sure there are many times she would have preferred her daughter was Ekta Kapoor rather than Techgirl.

So, I was very happy to see three strong Mumbai women – grand mother Janaki, mother Deepa and grand daughter Aishwarya share a blog where they write about Mumbai - the city, its people, and its culture.

These 3 wonderfully articulate women blog at Mumbai Magic.  Their blog has even been written up by National Geographic’s Mumbai Destination Guide: "Cull cultural tips and highlights from this family's three-generational approach to Mumbai. The insightful photography and anecdotal writings stem from the three women's local expertise."

So cute.  Three generations of women of substance sharing their lives through the same blog.  And it is an excellent blog.
