HP in Sex and the City By Techgirl
Technology giant Hewlett Packard is on a roll since its new Chairman and CEO, Mark Hurd, took over. In Feb, 2010, it posted revenues of $31.2 Billion.
HP sells the most personal computers in the world and has 18.2 percent of the global market. And HP is doing all it can to increase its market share. New moves include a marketing partnership with one of the greatest chick TV and movie series ‘Sex and the City’.
New York Times is reporting
“ Hewlett-Packard has signed an elaborate deal with Warner Brothers, to help promote both the movie and a spring line of Hewlett-Packard products that are meant to have a fashionable focus. The agreement, for undisclosed terms, will include appearances by Hewlett-Packard PCs and notebook computers in scenes in “Sex and the City 2” along with a sweepstakes and promotions like screenings and events in stores, all sponsored by Hewlett-Packard.
And Sarah Jessica Parker, who plays Carrie Bradshaw in the “Sex and the City” TV series and movies, will appear as herself in Hewlett-Packard television commercials, print ads, outdoor ads and online ads. “
