Photo contest: Infy 2000

On July 12, 2010, Techgoss had launched a Rs. 20,000 contest for human interest photos from the Indian IT, BPO, KPO and associated sectors. The best photo or photo feature will win a minimum of Rs. 10,000.  The runner up gets a minimum of Rs. 5,000. All other published photos will be paid a minimum of Rs. 1000.

Techgoss published its first photo of this contest on July 14 which was of the highly regarded Genpact Assistant Vice President, GE Healthcare, Amit Dubey, joyously dancing at the GEHC Townhall in April, 2010. Amit notched up another feather in his cap with the recent successful transition of a Yahoo financial process to Genpact.

Techgoss published its second photo from this contest on July 20.  This was of the Grouse Board at 3 BPO Offices at Mindspace in Mumbai.

Today, we present you a photo of one of Infosys’s first Leadership Events held at the luxurious Waldorf-Astoria Hotel, New York in 2000.  In the last 10 years, approximately 50 percent of these Infosys senior management have moved on to other companies. 

Techgoss has received other photos as well including one of Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg attending an Indian wedding in Pune.  Over the next few days, these photos will be processed and uploaded

Each of these photos wins Rs. 1000 and is in the running for the Rs. 10,000 first prize as well as the Rs 5,000 second prize.  As per the request of our Tipster, his identity will be kept secret.
