Dell’s pervert techie By Techgirl
It seems that at least two of Dell India’s techies have made their American female customers uncomfortable with their dirty talk and sexual harassment.
On Dec 15, 2009, Techgoss had reported on how a Dell India techie, under the pretence of helping American Stacy Gore solve a technical problem, had remotely logged on to her Dell computer, picked up a personal photo of her bare breasts and flashed it on screen. Stacy had a number of such personal photos stashed on her computer. (Full story below)
Well, it seems that the Dell Indian team has another such pervert. American media group ABC is reporting
“ A Sacramento woman Tara Fitzgerald says a tech support engineer in India managed to expose her secrets and make charges to her credit card after she called him with a desperate request.
"I was missing pictures on my computer. And they were personal pictures and I didn't feel comfortable," said Fitzgerald. They were extremely personal pictures intended only for her boyfriend.
So she called Dell support for help with her new Dell computer and delicate problem. She was connected to a Dell support contractor in Mumbai, India named Riyaz Shaikh.
"I trusted him. I trusted him because he was a Dell technician and I don't like the cyberworld, you're so vulnerable," said Fitzgerald. She gave the technician permission to access her computer remotely and watched as he found the pictures and downloaded them.
"Oh yeah, I'm totally convinced. I watched him take the pictures out of my e-mail. I watched him," said Fitzgerald.
Shortly thereafter, 16 nude photographs appeared on a vulgar website created for the sole purpose of displaying her pictures. “
In the past, we have heard occasional complaints from Americans that an Indian BPO called them to sell a credit card and they could not understand the accent. But it seems that some Dell users in America have had a problem understanding the heavy breathing from their support team in India.

Indian Peeping Tom techie By Techgirl
Dell India is one of the jewels of this multi national. Even as Dell International’s net income fell by 54 % last quarter, Dell India has a 17 % increase in sales. Dell India now says it is No. 2 in our country.
But it seems that at least one Indian Dell techie may lose his job even as his company grows from strength to strength. According to American media, this Indian techie got hold of a photo of the bare breasts of a customer and then flashed it on her screen. This Indian techie had full access to her computer as he was officially remotely logged on to her computer to help resolve a virus attack.
OCR is reporting:
“ An Orange woman says Dell technician ‘Jack Neos’ in India remotely dug up her private photo and displayed it on her laptop screen.
Stacy Gore was on the phone with a computer technician in India who had remotely accessed her computer to help repair it when an image flashed across her laptop screen, shocking her.
It was a snapshot of her bare breasts. Gore had forgotten about the picture, which was tucked away in a file on her computer.
"It creeped me out," says Gore, 45. “
And to add insult to injury, the Indian techie wrote to her “u look very very very very cute...it boosted me up and hope to have a good, sweet, cute, adorable, friend like U : )"
When Stacy complained to Dell, a Dell India manager told her that the culprit Jack Neos was “one of our best”.
American media picked up this story and now it is being reported in India. Now that this is in the public domain, Dell India will be forced to take proper action against this erring techie.
