BPO: Prince helps Dancers By Sandhya
Teleperformance (TP) is one of the biggest BPO’s in the world. It has about 100,000 employees and revenue of 1,800 mill pounds last year. Established in 1978, its core business spans the full spectrum of CRM/BPO contact center solutions. Teleperformance has a large global footprint in the industry with 276 contact centers, presence in 51 countries, servicing over 75 markets.
A Tipster tells me that the Teleperformance (TP) Employee Care team has introduced a new popular event ‘Dance Champ’ for the employees. Previous employee events included a Football tournament which involved 16 teams competing for the top spot over 3 months.
This Teleperformance Dance Champ competition has a selection round in which every aspirant has to audition with his/her dance moves. After you have made the cut, TP had hired a professional Choreographer Prince to help polish the dancing skills of employees. Dances could range from Bollywood, Punjabi to Hip Hop. The best part? Teleperformance has given each contestant 1 hour off their work time for dance training.
Choreographer Prince has worked with the likes of Indian Rap star Hard Kaur who divides her time between London and India.
The Dance Champ finals will be held in about 2 months. (9/7/2010) |
