IBM Daksh: 50,000 Pesos Sign On bonuses

Tech giant IBM had net income of $3.2 billion in the last 3 months.  It’s IT and BPO offices in India are doing particularly well.  According to NASSCOM,  IBM-Daksh BPO occupied the fourth position in the Top 15 BPO Exporters 2008 – 2009 in India. Indian BPO’s Genpact, WNS and TCS hold the first 3 places in this prestigious list.

In Jun, 2009, IBM Daksh was awarded the Frost & Sullivan Contact Center Outsourcing Service Provider of the year in the Asia Pacific region. This was the fourth year in running that IBM Daksh has won this prestigious Contact Center Outsourcing Service Provider award..  IBM Daksh was formed after IBM took over Indian BPO Daksh in 2004.

IBM Daksh CEO, Pavan Vaish, was quoted as saying: “Winning this award again is a testimony to our consistency in maintaining high standards in service delivery and innovation and further reinforces our market leadership. We strive to maintain a competitive advantage through our global delivery network and are committed to providing our clients with innovative offerings across industry verticals.”

It seems that as per IBM Daksh CEO Pavan Vaish’s promise to do anything to retain its competitive edge, IBM Daksh BPO in Philippines is offering bonuses of up to 50000 PhP.  IBM Daksh is offering P50,000 for Technical Specialists to work in its IT Software Support center at Mandaluyong City, Philippines.  Candidates applying for these positions should be college graduates who have done a 4 year court (preferably IT reated0 and have at least two years technical work experience. Any experience troubleshooting PC and Macintosh operating systems would be a clear advantage.

This P50000 Joining bonus is offered to candidates who apply by Oct 8 and can be on board by Oct 30, 2009.  Each Philippine Peso is equivalent to an Indian rupee.

IBM Philippines has 7000 employees.
