Plaxo offers what is describes as an ‘online intelligent, self-updating address book that keeps contact information in sync and securely’. It has more than 50 million members.
US based Plaxo.com gets most of its traffic from America (36 percent) followed by India (11 percent). United Kingdom, which constitutes 4 percent of Plaxo traffic, is on third place.
Sometime back, Plaxo decided to leverage its huge membership base by getting into social networking as well. Today (March 17, 2011), Plaxo has announced that it will stick to its core business of address books and will move out of social networking.
