Google net cafes in India
By Techgirl

Over the years, Techgoss has published a number of exclusive human interest photos with some IT, BPO, KPO and Telecom links to the images.  These include:

-In July, 2010, during our first Photo Competition, Techgoss had published exclusive photos of Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg attired in Indian clothes and dancing at a wedding in India.  This photo was republished by a number of popular blogs including Gawker, Pluggdin and others.

-Sometime back, a Tipster sent in photos of the marriage ceremony for Hotmail founder Sabeer Bhatia.

-In Feb, 2011, as part of our last photo competition, our exclusive photo of the Facebook shop in Mumbai went viral

And there were many more including one of Infosys branded samosas being sold in Pune.

Techgoss reader and Techie Mr. Kumar snapped a photo of a Googles net café in Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh.  Mr. Kumar tells us that there are many such Googles net centres in South India.  Initially, they were called ‘Google Net Café’ but realizing that Google USA / India may sue them, the owners quickly changed the name to ‘Googles Net Café’.

Rs. 1000 will be couriered to this Tipster with a nose for news for sending in the photo.

Do you have such human interest photos as well?  For really exclusive photos we will pay you Rs. 5000, for most you will get a minimum of Rs. 1000. Anonymity guaranteed if you prefer your name is not used with the photo.

Techgoss note:  Techgirl is a senior Tech journalist who reports on the IT, KPO and KPO Sectors for a leading media house.  In her spare time, she dabbles in satire in her blog techgirltalk.blogspot.com.  Techgirl has been ejected from Twitter for satirizing an Indian Minister.  Her satire blog has links to her Times of India interview detailing her being kicked out of Twitter, and then being invited back.
