Boyfriend SMS analyzed By Techgirl
It was hard enough to understand the language of love in the real world, and it becomes harder still on the internet. A guy may present himself as Shahrukh and he may turn out to be Shakti Kapoor. A man may look as non threatening to women as Karan Johar but may turn out to be another Shiny.
Wait! There is a website that you can use to analyze your ‘special friend’s’ SMS, IMs and Emails sent to you. Once you feed in this input, a computer program can tell you how long the relationship will last
“ In Synch: Language Style Matching
Are you and your Special Friend on the same page? Are you clicking? In synch? Seeing eye to eye? Communicating effectively?
This application determines the degree to which any two samples of language are similar in their language styles. It can be most helpful in analyzing two sides of the same conversation. For best results, use a group of IMs, emails, text messages, even transcribed conversations, or even general writing samples between you and another person.
Once you enter your words in the interaction and then the other person’s words, you will get a number back that assesses the degree to which the two of you match. This number, called a language style matching, or LSM score, ranges from about .50 to 1.00. The closer you are to 1.00, the more in synch the two of you are.
Other studies have found that the LSM score is associated with how long a relationship lasts and its overall quality. “
And girls, if you like the guy and want him around, ensure your SMSes are liberally sprinkled with IPL happenings, and fake laughter and smiley icons even for half baked jokes sent via SMS. And some things I cannot mention in any published article. Hint: I have just seen a survey which shows that visits to Indian sex sites have dropped in direct relation to the increasing visits to IPL and cricket websites.
