Quick cash at Tihar Jail
By Techgirl

My heart goes out to poor innocent Telecom Raja, who was dropped as Union Cabinet Minister for Communications and Information Technology, and is now languishing in Delhi’s notorious Tihar Jail.

The CBI has got it all wrong that DMK’s Raja took hundreds of crores to swing Telecom deals.  Anyway, what are a few hundred crores these days? You can’t even buy a good office in Mumbai with that kind of money.  Time magazine were sooo biased when they put Telecom Raja in the “Top 10 Abuses of Power” list.  The Radia tapes were ‘taken out of context’.

Raja is innocent!  Why?  Because Karunanidhi says so and he is an honourable man. To hell with you all, even I believe Raja would never take a bribe.

Anyway, if Raja did take a few rupees, how can he earn some money from Tihar Jail and give the cash back to the Indian public? How about playing computer games and earning credits and then selling them via the gaming community or even PayPal?

The Guardian is reporting on how Chinese prisoners are been forced to play computer games to earn money

Chinese prisoners were forced into 'gold farming' – building up credits on online games such as World of Warcraft.

As a prisoner at the Jixi labour camp, Liu Dali would slog through tough days breaking rocks and digging trenches in the open cast coalmines of north-east China. By night, he would slay demons, battle goblins and cast spells.

Liu says he was one of scores of prisoners forced to play online games to build up credits that prison guards would then trade for real money. The 54-year-old, a former prison guard who was jailed for three years in 2004 for "illegally petitioning" the central government about corruption in his hometown, reckons the operation was even more lucrative than the physical labour that prisoners were also forced to do.

Tears roll down my eyes whenever I think of poor innocent DMK MP Kanimozhi who is also in Tihar Jail.  It’s all a conspiracy to push honest people like her out of politics.  Could one of Techgoss readers check out the internet and recommend a nice ‘Work from Home (or Tihar Jail) using your computer scheme’ for Kanimozhi?  Perhaps, some data entry work which pays $20 an hour?
