ISI Chief hacked? By Bala Shah
Regular readers of Techgoss are well aware that a large number of our articles are crowd sourced. People send in tips, story ideas and even articles. Many of our contributors have full times jobs in IT-ITES, and so prefer using a pseudonym. A well informed TP Tipster tells us
“ Hackers News is an online organization dedicated to propagating news specifically related to information security threats, Hacking threads and issues from all over the world. To their credit, Hacking News has lots of exclusive information from the world of hacking. They have just published the following about ISI.
‘ An Indian Hacker "creatrix" claims to have hacked into the email id of ISI Chief Ahmed Shuja Pasha .The Directorate for Inter-Services Intelligence (more commonly known as Inter Services Intelligence or simply by its initials ISI), is Pakistan's premier intelligence agency, responsible for providing critical national security intelligence assessment to the Government of Pakistan. The ISI is the largest of the three intelligence service agencies of Pakistan, the others being the Intelligence Bureau (IB) and Military Intelligence (MI). ‘ “
The Indian Government believes that Pakistan’s army and ISI run the country and no civilian Executive can survive without working in tandem with both of them. Could it be true that the ISI boss prefers to use Gmail? Some senior Indian Government officials were also using such private email services and probably still do.
Thanks for the Tip Ramesh (He has asked us not to publish his full name)
