Rs 50K for Tee design

They claim to be ‘Asia's largest co-creation and democratic brand’ and are ‘an online destination where users can design, buy and vote for funky tees’. Now they have joined hands with Google inviting you to design a Tee for Google Chrome! The theme? Capture the essence of Google Chrome to create your own masterpiece!

I am talking about the Bombay IIT alumnus and apparel and fashion design industry entrepreneur Navneet Rai’s venture, Inkfruit.com, which ‘co-creates awesome designs in association with thousands of designers from all over the world and retails those Art t-shirts across India and overseas using website (e-commerce) as well as through offline outlets’. The tie up with Google Chrome is a new development and the ‘winning design will be printed as the Google Chrome tee, a limited edition item that’ll be available exclusively to Google and Inkfruit fans around the world’.

The challenge carries exciting prizes too. One first prize winner gets a Samsung Galaxy Tab plus hard cash to the tune of Rs. 50,000 and 5000 Inkfruit reward points. Four second prize winners get a Samsung Galaxy Tab and Rs. 25,000 and 1000 Inkfruit reward points each. There are 10 consolation prizes which will earn you 2500 Inkfruit reward points each. The last date is September 19, 2011.

Navneet Rai has been at the job of creating designs for five long years now and is often seen organizing unique contests in Tee designs in which the designs uploaded wins by the number of votes they fetch and then are screen printed on T shirts which will be put on sale in the website.
