Regular readers of Techgoss are well aware that a large number of our articles are crowd sourced. People send in tips, story ideas and even articles. Many of our contributors have full times jobs in IT - ITES, and so prefer using a pseudonym. A Tipster, who has asked us not to publish his name, has sent us a detailed Tip about how the sacking of an Adobe Process Agent for logging on to Facebook at work triggered off a fight which resulted in the sacking of her Team Leader as well.
The Tip sent to Techgoss has details of how Teleperformance sacked an Agent in September for surfing Facebook at work. The Adobe Process Agent was so irate at her sacking that she sent an email to senior management about how her own Team Leader drank booze and logged on to porn sites at work As Teleperformance in general and their Adobe Process in particular have impeccable standards at work , they swung into action and sacked the Team Leader as well. Our Tipster tells us that while Teleperformance is a good paymaster and treats their staff well, no bad behaviour is tolerated at work.
This is breaking news (we got the Tip only on Oct 1) and Techgoss will publish some more details early next week once we have processed the whole news Tip.
