Red Herring Asia award

Started in 1996, the Red Herring Awards are given to technology companies which are privately held and not listed on any exchange anywhere in the world.

The Red Herring editorial team has selected the Finalists for the 2011 Red Herring 100 Asia Awards. The Asian Finalists were evaluated on both quantitative and qualitative criteria, such as financial performance, technology innovation, quality of management, execution of strategy, and disruption into their respective industries.

Each finalist will have to make a live presentation at the Red Herring Asia Forum in Hong Kong on October 17-19. After this final stage in the vetting process, the 2011 Top 100 Asia will be announced at a special award dinner on October 19 at the event.

Among the finalists are many Indian companies including A1 Future Technologies, A2Zapps.com, AaramShop Private Limited, ACCESS STB Labs, Ace2Three, Aikon Labs Pvt Ltd, Alpha Cloud Labs and others
