Pak porn crackdown
By Sumir Singh

Last year, the Pakistani Courts and Government banned Facebook for hosting anti Islamic pages which hurt the sentiments of many citizens.  The Indian Government also had a quiet word with Facebook and those controversial pages were blocked from India as well.

Now, leading Tech and Telecom blog, Propakistani, has published details on how Pakistan is planning to ban 150,000 porn websites

We are told by Pakistan Telecommunications Authority (PTA) officials that a list of 150,000 websites has been sent to ISPs to get them blocked. The process will take 8 to 10 working days and then these 150,000 will be blocked in Pakistan. PTA is planning to keep updating the list, through user input and self determination.
