Syntel HR form copied By Sandhya
Over the last 20 months, Techgoss had published a series of exclusive reports giving details of all that was happening inside the BPO, KPO and IT divisions of one of India’s most successful IT-ITES companies Syntel. One report showed how that in the recent past Syntel BPO was overly reliant on couple of key clients. Also, exclusively reported were the exits of the CEO and key HR people.
Regular readers of Techgoss are well aware that a large number of our articles are crowd sourced. People send in tips, story ideas and even articles. “ Syntel KPO HR has had a number of changes in the last couple of years. We have a new HR Manager Ms. S* who circulated an Employee Discussion form to get feedback to build a consensus.
Just a couple of clicks on the Properties of this Employee Discussion form Word document showed that it had been created in Tech Mahindra. And was now being regurgitated as an Employee Discussion form at Syntel KPO.
Perhaps Tech Mahindra may not be happy to know that their form is being used at Syntel!
Quite separately, we also need a formal policy for IJP so that Operations does not override HR on every IJP parameters. Also, we should start using our System where PeopleSoft software should be used to record the 1 to 1 discussions with employees. This basic element has been forgotten for some time
