Genpact: Rs 15000 for each iYogi

Genpact was India’s first BPO and still continues its market leadership position in India.  Genpact has 41,000 employees and earned revenue of $1.1 Billion in 2009. Genpact started life as a Business Unit of GE, but by January 2005 it became an independent company.  Two years later, it was listed on the NYSE. In 2009, NASSCOM ranked Genpact as the No. 1 BPO company in India.

While Genpact is well known as India’s top BPO, it also does substantial computers systems and tech support for overseas clients.  In that sense, it is a tech company as well. Genpact is now offering a referral bonus of Rs. 15,000 for its latest tech support process.

A little bird tells Techgoss that business in booming at Genpact North India and so they have decided to increase their employee referral amount up to Rs. 15,000 this monsoon season.  In the past, if a Genpact employee referred a suitable applicant to the company, he/she was rewarded as much as Rs. 3000 – 5000 depending on the skill set of the person who joined Genpact.

Now, the new referral criterion is as follows

- For different voice processes, between Rs. 10,000 and Rs. 15,000
- For Financial and Accounting Processes, Rs. 25,000 for 3 referrals
-  For non voice processes like Westpact, Aon, AllState Insurance, the referral amount is Rs. 3500 per employee
-  For domestic processes, it is Rs. 500

For its new process iyogi, Genpact is paying Rs 15000 per referral. iYogi describes itself as the first global services brand from India and the world's-fastest growing provider of comprehensive direct-to-consumer remote tech support. The company has more than 100,000 annual subscribers across four continents.

iYogi's is setting the standard for the remote support industry with a customer satisfaction rating of 95%. The company delivers its services using industry standard platforms from companies like HP, Microsoft and Cisco. Amazon and Walmart are among the iYogi clients.

For its F&A processes like Honeywell and Kimberley Clark , Genpact also pays extra incentive in terms of Cheers Points, which an employee can redeem to get different gift items.
