FB invites developers By Asha
Brands, celebrities, companies and organizations often ask Facebook about resources to help them enhance their Facebook Page or add engaging social features to their website. Facebook then directs them to their list of Preferred Developer Consultants (PDC). Naturally to be a Preferred Developer, individuals or teams have had to have substantial expertise and success in Facebook integrations and solutions ranging from contests, polls and campaigns to deeply integrated social experiences.
Facebook is looking to expand its Preferred Developer Consultant (PDC) program which has 90 members around the globe.
“ Today, we are announcing the opening of our fall 2011 submission round for joining the program. Submissions will be open for 1 month, from now until 5pm PST on December 6.
Submissions should be as detailed as possible. Please also note that our strict selection criteria keeps our acceptance rate quite low, so potential applicants without a strong existing portfolio of demonstrated excellence in social app and tool development should wait to apply until their track record is more established. “ (11/12/2011) |
