On Dec 7, 2011, I had written about how within the last 6 months more than 5 Billion Android Apps were downloaded thus reaching an all-time 10 Billion milestone.  The Android Developers blog, while making this announcement, noted that they were growing at one billion app downloads per month.

Today, Android Developers have zoomed into (part of the infographic published above) the 10 Billion downloads and published even more data.  And the news that the 10 Billionth download was Photobucket Mobile which would win a number of prize including tickets to next year’s Google I/O developer conference.

The Infographic has many interesting details such as Sunday night and Monday morning are the most popular times to download android apps.
