Kore back at Syntel
By Sandhya

Regular readers of Techgoss are well aware that a large number of our articles are crowd sourced.  People send in tips, photos, story ideas and even articles. Many of our contributors have full time jobs in IT - ITES, and so prefer using a pseudonym.  A first time Tipster who prefers that we don’t publish his name wrote in

Techgoss had scooped a number of news items about Syntel GM and Head of KPO Operations for State Street, Madan Kore.  In Jan, 2011, you had broken the story about Mr. Kore’s resignation from Syntel, and then reported his opening up the KASH Academy which aims at training 50,000 students by 2015

I have an update for your readers.

On Dec 29, 2011, many Syntellers were surprised to see Madan Kore in the Syntel Talwade Premises at Pune.

Mr. Madan Kore had quit Syntel to form KASH Academy whose aim is to train graduates and fine tune them so that they are employable in the KPO /  BPO Sector.

Mr. Kore wore a visitor's tag and entered S1 Building and met the HR of Syntel. Many Managers flocked to S1 to pay their respects to the highly regarded Mr. Kore.  Talk around the water cooler was that Mr. Kore was there to work out an alliance so that the KASH Trainees can be employed in Syntel after the completion of the training.
Syntel, like most Indian companies, has a mosaic of backgrounds. A cursory glance at the backgrounds of most of the employees in Syntel seems to reveal a common trend - at least in Pune. Most of the HR in Pune is from ISBM Pune whereas most of the Managers are from WNS.

Will we soon see KASH Trainees at Syntel Maharashtra?
