GENPACT: Software Warns When Employee Will Resign By Sunil Sharma
GENPACT is one of the most respected BPO’s in India. Started in 1997, it provides end-to-end BPO and IT Services. After a humble start with 80 people in 1997, it has grown in leaps and bounds and is now working towards revenues of one billion dollars next year.
One of their big internal successes last year was to implement the Predictive Retention Tool TM to control staff turnover. The tool, based on a Binary Logistic Regression Model, predicts attrition trends across Genpact and calculates the propensity of each employee to attrite, on a real-time basis. It enables managers to devise and implement proactive action plans to mitigate attrition. The tool also tracks the effectiveness of those retention practices, allowing managers to continuously improve them.
After implementing the Predictive Retention Tool TM, Genpact noticed saw the following wins last year -
• Customer satisfaction had increased by 8 eight percent • Process sigma levels had improved by 14 percent • Productivity levels had increased on an average by 10 percent • It has resulted in a more motivated workforce
Most importantly, its tool showed that attrition is not about always paying more for talent. Another win for GENPACT.
(Techgoss note – GENPACT is the first company in the world to implement the tool on such a large scale) (11/30/2006) |
