LinkedIn more secure

As the world’s largest professional network,  LinkedIn has about 140 million members of which more than 12 million are from India.  In Nov, 2011,  LinkedIn opened a Technology Centre in Bangalore,  India – the first of its kind outside its home country of USA.

Today, LinkedIn has announced that it is implementing increased browser security to its website

This is currently an “opt in” feature that will be rolled out gradually in the next coming weeks to all of our members. Serving our site over https is a key step to enhance the security for all of you, especially for those of you using public networks such as open WiFi hotspots.
