GENPACT Managers Burgled: Rs. 90 Thousand Stolen By Techgoss Correspondent
New Delhi/Gurgaon. (India) December 15. Burglars struck into the house of GENPACT executive in up-market Suncity Apartments near DLF Golf Links in Gurgaon, India early this week. Garry D Rosario and his wife Garima both working with GENPACT were the first to spot the theft on their return from the office on Monday evening.
According to Garry a senior finance executive with GENPACT the total loss was about Rs. 90,000.
“It was about 9.15 pm on our return from office, we were shocked to see the lock of main entry door was broken. On entering our house we found the entire house ransacked and cupboards open. Immediately we informed the security control room. Though the police registered a case of theft the next day but it is still to trace the burglars and recover the cash and jewelry,” Garry said.
While commenting on the loss, Garry said that the burglars fled scot-free with the booty that included 9000 INR in cash and his wife’s jewelry. Garry’s wife Garima is employed with GENPACT as manager (training). The couple has been with the company for the past six years.
“We had moved to Gurgaon from Luckhow six years back and had been living in peace here. What we had been reading in various newspapers on the incidents of thefts, have now been subjected to us also. The developers of Suncity Apartments as well as the state police must pull up its socks to ensure better security and safety for the lives and property of the people living here,” Garry demanded.
