Simplilearn Senior Appointments

Simplilearn, a hugely successful professional certification training provider, has appointed Vedanarayanan Vedantham as Senior Director of Marketing and Rajeev K.G as Director of eLearning for enterprise business. Vedanarayanan aka “Veda” and Rajeev come on onboard at a time when the leading edu-tech company is scaling its presence rapidly through innovative product offerings.

Veda (pictured above) joins Simplilearn after setting up the marketing function ground-up at Stayzilla, one of the fastest growing online travel players in India.  In his new capacity as the Senior Director of Marketing, Veda will focus on expanding the growing awareness of Simplilearn while ensuring the brand is positioned as one of the most preferred career partner for working professionals worldwide. Interestingly, Veda also happens to be a fiction author and has published four fictional books as part of the "Adventures of Prince Surya” series. Veda is an alumnus of SPJIMR, Mumbai and has worked with CBAZAAR.com and PayPal in the past.

Joining as the Director of eLearning for enterprise vertical, Rajeev comes with over 20 years of experience and has been responsible for building and leading India sales at top edu-tech companies like Pluralsight where he held the position of Regional Sales Director and Country Manager at Skill Soft. He has also worked with Element K (NIIT Ltd) in the past. Rajeev takes charge at Simplilearn to build the expanding enterprise eLearning business across APAC, South East & EMEA.
