Regular readers of Techgoss are well aware that a large number of our articles are crowd sourced. People send in tips, story ideas and even articles. Many of our contributors have full times jobs in IT-ITES, and so prefer using a pseudonym. A well informed TP Tipster tells us
“ On Jan 11, 2011, Teleperformance (TP), Gurgaon sacked a chatty tech trainee. Even as the training class was on, the trainee, Mr. Agarwal ,was using the Adobe Chat functionality to chat with a female colleague in Bangalore. Apparently, he even asked for her personal email ID.
Soon after he was sacked, our big boss Mr. Jeeveshu Ahluwalia who has a reputation of being tough but fair, wrote to all of us
‘ It is really unfortunate to announce that we had to let go one of the Agents from Imaging Queue who was caught chatting with a Bangalore Agent and he was caught while in training.
I would like each one of you to ensure - No Chats to be initiated or answered with colleagues - All chats to be monitored and tracked - This is an integrity issue and anyone caught will be dealt with severely ‘
Mr. Ahluwalia asked that his message above be cascaded down via Managers and Team Leaders “
