Save us from Aliens
By Techgirl

The SpaceRef website, which focuses on the global space systems sector, is very popular among the geeks, techies and space enthusiasts. SpaceRef covers civil, commercial and military space as well as space policy, space technology, astronomy and most other space related topics.  It websites draw 350,000 unique monthly readers.

SpaceRef has just published an article based on National Geographic Channel’s research that more than 80 million Americans are certain that UFO’s exist.

And what about the ultimate war that would pit the technology of a unified Earth against an Alien invasion?  And which American would be a better leader in a war against the technologically superior weaponry of the Aliens?  The SpaceRef article has the details

In regards to national security, nearly two-thirds (65%) of Americans think Barack Obama would be better suited than fellow presidential candidate Mitt Romney to handle an alien invasion. In fact, more than two in three (68%) women say that Obama would be more adept at dealing with an alien invasion than Romney, vs. 61 percent of men. And more younger citizens, ages 18 to 64 years, than those aged 65+ (68% vs. 50%) think Romney would not be as well-suited as Obama to handle an alien invasion.

Tech Supervisor Erin Ryder and UFOlogist James Fox from NGC's new series "Chasing UFOs," believe the survey results are in line with the interviews and research they found in field operations taping the show.

Every popular American TV show – Reality or otherwise - is soon cloned in India.  How soon before someone does such detailed research about how many Indians believe in UFOs?

And more importantly, who is best suited to lead India’s defence against an Alien invasion?  Should it be PM Manmohan Singh?  Or Home Minister Chidambaram?  Or someone from the Opposition Party?  Perhaps Mr. Jaitley?  Or Ms Swaraj?  Many BJP supporters will surely believe that Mr. Modi is best suited to protect them against any aliens.

I personally feel that technology Guru and our most popular President Missile Man Kalam is best suited to protect Indians when the Aliens attack.

What do you think?
