Godrej Infotech win
By Bala Shah

Technology giant Microsoft exceeded market expectations by announcing revenue of $17.4 Billion in the last Quarter.  Millions of businesses and hundreds of millions of people buy Microsoft products every year, and many Microsoft Partners also get a share of the revenue rich pie. In June, 2012, Microsoft has announced the winners and finalists of the 2012 Microsoft Partner of the Year Awards.

These annual awards honor Microsoft partners for delivering innovative solutions during the past year that directly address customer challenges. Award winners and finalists, chosen from nominations from around the world, were recognized at the 2012 Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference, the company’s premier annual event for industry partners, on July 8–12, 2012 in Toronto.

In the complete list of the many winners, at least 2 Indian companies – Wipro and Cognizant - got a special mention as making it to the Finals.

But only one Indian company won.  On July 11, 2012, at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC) 2012 in Toronto, Microsoft honored the strongest performing Microsoft Dynamics partners for demonstrating significant customer impact by developing and delivering innovation solutions that help customers drive their businesses forward.

The performance based Microsoft Dynamics Regional Partner of the Year award for India was given to Godrej Infotech Limited
