HCL Infosystems specializes in hardware, services and ICT Systems Integration and Distribution. HCL Learning, the Education & Learning division of HCL Infosystems., organized a nationwide painting competition on the occasion of Independence Day for thousands of students across schools in eighteen states. Celebrating the spirit of Independence, the competition titled ‘Shades of Freedom’ saw enthusiastic participation by students from more than 100 schools across India.

The main objective of the competition was to celebrate the moment of delight and grandeur of India’s freedom. In respective schools the winner in KG to Class 5 category is to be awarded the HCL My EduDrive, while those from Class 6 to 12 will get receive the HCL My EduTab. Along with this, certificates are to be issued to all the winners.

Commenting on the Painting Competitions around Independence Day, Mr. Anand Ekambaram, Sr. Vice President, HCL Infosystems & Head HCL Learning said, “It’s heartening to see overwhelming interest and participation from students across the nation and we congratulate all the winners who has so far won the competition at their respective schools. At HCL Learning, our endeavor is always to nurture young minds and play an enabling role in fostering their creativity for a more prosperous and brighter India. The awards to be given to the winners are the latest devices in learning technologies that would further enable them to explore more innovative and engaging ways to learn”.
