BPO Tracmail restructured

Mumbai based Tracmail was founded in 1999 and describes itself as a leading provider of outsourced interactive communications solutions. The company offers business process outsourcing services, such as voice based inbound / outbound phone support, email support, online chat, and back office processing services. Its services also include receivables management and collections.

Tracmail’s main operational centre is located at the International Infotech Park, Vashi Railway Station Complex, Navi Mumbai.

Our organization, Tracmail India, is one of Mumbai’s oldest BPOs in the Collections (payment reminder calling and soft collections) niche.

Tracmail gets its business from an outsourcing partner of American Express USA. Tracmail is one of the oldest and one of the best known call centers of Mumbai and has had a successful stint for 8 to 9 years. The business was solid and secure but limited to approximately 1400 to 1500 seats between Mumbai and its Pune centers.  These centres were devoted to payment reminders for credit and charge card customers of American Express in the USA.

Tracmail has had an average track record, and despite best attempts neither seats grew, nor did new business come their way.

Recently, Trackmail transferred all its employees from its rolls to American Express’s outsourcing partner in India.  The client, based on a recommendation from American Express, transferred Tracmail's employees onto its own rolls.

However, Infrastructure & Administration as well as Information Technology services continue to be provided by Tracmail. Employees still report to Tracmails office at Vashi & Pune.  However, there are on the rolls of another company.

Talk around the water cooler is that is that Tracmail's board and shareholders were richly rewarded on this transfer.

This transfer involves all us Agents, and the immediate reporting structure. Senior management remains on Tracmails rolls.
