Aegis BPO: Govt, Banks Blamed For Delayed Salaries By Pulkit Sharma
Aegis BPO has delayed paying salaries to their employees by a couple of days. And according to their Finance Team, it is the Government and banks to blame.
According to a little bird in Aegis, employees received an email on April 4 saying that the Finance Team had completed the payroll processing for the month for arranging the payment on April 5, 2007, as promised. And Aegis BPO had asked the banks to credit the employees on April 5.
According to the Aegis Finance Team: “ The banks have communicated to us this evening that government has declared a holiday on 5th April & 6th April and have advised us that salaries would be credited to individuals positively on 7th April '07. We would request all the employees to appreciate that the unscheduled holiday on 5th by banks has caused this delay and inconvenienced all our colleagues.”
The humble Finance Team ended by expressing ‘regret’ for this unforeseen delay and requested everyone to bear with this delay. (Techgoss Published the following story on March 26, 2007)
