Techie is Motivational Speaker
By Suneetha

He works with Accenture at Mumbai. He is a motivational speaker in his free time, works with NGOs on weekends, and after that finds time to pen fiction. It’s quite not in that order, but Anuj Tiwari, the Bareilly Boy and debutante author tells us that his days are for work and evenings for his passion. Curious? Listen to what Anuj tells Techgoss about his multifarious profile.

“Brought up in the bustling streets of Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, where chaos is the order of the day, I learnt to circumvent the streets first, and then the convoluted life itself. I live in Mumbai and work with NGOs over the weekends as well. I have tasted the water of many fountains, “Some were sweet, and some sour.” JOURNEY OF TWO HEARTS! is my debut novel. In addition to academics, I completed my studies from Jaypee University. Working as a software engineer and an author are not easy but where I work from 9am to 6pm for my responsibilities and after that, from 6pm to 9am my passion doesn’t allow me to sit idle, so both go together with my life and I live happily.”

Techgoss (TG): So, that’s the story of your life, but how did this techie become a writer? Since when and what’s the inspiration?
Anuj Tiwari (AT): I always wanted to do something different from crowd but how and what to do, a big question. When I was a kid, I used to say to my parents, I want to do something different and every time my mom slapped me and then again, I was back to my studies. But that spark was still there. When I left home for my engineering then I had enough time to think about my future and my life, years passed but I had the same thought to do something different but how and what to do, still a big question. Then that spark was about to collapse and I started dreaming a good job and salary after my engineering.

During my college days, I fell in love with Pakhi. Life started moving very fast. I never thought to be an author; I just started writing for her with one wish that I will gift her when we’ll get married. But as life has two sides, good and bad, so I was not untouched with this reality. Then my wish to gift this book to her converted into a novel in ocean of tears, but journey was not over; I knew one thing, ‘After crossing the ocean of tears, I will definitely find the way of happiness’ and it happened with me. So, I can say my life, people around me and of course, Pakhi is the inspiration for me to be an author and a motivational speaker.

TG: Your book, tell us about it. Why have you chosen to name the character after you? Is this an autobiography?
AT: Journey Of Two Hearts is being published by Srishti Publishers across the country. Yes, JOURNEY OF TWO HEARTS…is a TRUE LOVE STORY of protagonist Anuj (myself) and the bird of desires Pakhi. They made a milestone in their innocent and unforgettable love story.

“Sweetness of love you can taste, after wetting your lips with tears.”

When the world was sleeping, those lovebirds were making the golden nest of love. The love where was passion, care and dedication for each other. Holding hands, strong feelings and to love each other, they always walked together. Anuj was the guy of surprises. Unexpectedly, what happened, when Pakhi said, “I can’t be with you Anuj, please leave me forever.”

What happened that night that changed everything and broke the golden nest of love? ALL PROMISES BROKE…is a JOURNEY OF TWO HEARTS…however, as Anuj promised, at every special moment, he would be there to give her surprises…and he did. Then why he cried for so long? A TRUE TALE…where love was there, but not more than sacrifices…

LOVING SOMEONE IS NOT TOUGH BUT THE REAL COURAGE IS TO FORGET YOUR LOVING ONE…

This book actually gives all the definitions of love, care, dedication and sacrifices, it’s not a complete love story, it’s a story of every youth but outcomes are different and that made it lovable and memorable.

But yes, it’s true, I wrote this book for Pakhi. My life and Pakhi both taught me so many things, which I never dreamt in my life, good and bad both. Both the characters are in the book made their every night valentine and every day with full of surprises. Anybody can read the book because sometime, somewhere he/she passed through this adorable journey of two hearts.

TG: What do you plan to write next?
AT: The day when I finished my first book, I started working for my next books, but these days I just looking forward with “Journey Of Two Hearts.” Second will come for sure but which would be the second one even I am not sure. The one, which will touch my heart, will come to touch yours as well.

TG: Who is your favourite author/ what book did you read last/ what’s your favourite book?
AT: The big question for me, it seems very awkward when an author says, “I haven’t read even a single book in my life except school and college books.” But it’s true, I have so many books in my bookrack and few I started reading but it’s a human tendency to adopt the things and somewhere I felt the same so decided to learn from life only. But my favorite author is J.R.R Tolkien who wrote Lord of the rings, just because of his dedication for his work.

TG: You have mentioned you are a motivational/inspirational speaker too. How did you get into this?
AT: During this journey, I learnt so many things and started to understand people. In early 2012, I started giving speeches in college, universities and people who have no hopes for their life. I started receiving mails and they started loving my views and I became a motivational speaker, that time I realized, ‘When your work gives you pleasure, when you love your work and feel the real happiness from your heart then failure and success doesn't matter in your life. ’ Now I am at the same place. I just love to listen to them who look at me.

TG: How often do you give such talks? any memorable stages? whats the sort of audience you get in these places?
AT: I talk to them because I also learn many things from them. I have few memories, which I can’t forget in my life. When I talk to youth, and especially when they discuss with me about their problems. They never discuss their problems with their parents but share with me, though most of the times they ask about love, breakup and success, which is very common in youth. And If I help even a single person and he/she becomes happy, that time I feel a deep happiness inside my heart and that happiness makes me ready for the next step to understand them. I am not a great speaker, people are far better than I am. They are much more experienced than I am but I am just a heart listener and try to listen to them and understand them from my senses.

TG: Do you intend to make this a career?
AT: Yes.

TG: Have you done any social work in connection with this?
AT: People rarely know me. I am also a learner, so, I don’t get chance to talk to them but yes whenever I get, I visit to NGOs, conferences and talk to people and contribute whatever I can.

TG: Anything else?
AT: Sometimes I feel very bad when I look at those have money but not happiness, I feel bad when I see people are fighting for success in office, in business and everywhere. People do sometimes wrong but actually, they don't want to do.

Then what is the reason? Moreover, why? Though I am not gyan baba, I am not any celebrity, I am not any big personality, I just want to say something and if even a single person look at the reality that means I have done something for you and for my smile and happiness.

Life will never come back then why regret? Who knows, what will happen tomorrow then why wrinkles on your face? If you want to fall in love, don't wait. If you want to be a symbol for society, for country, for world just wake up. If you want to say, something don't let your tongue stop.

We all have dreams; we all have friends, parents and love. They all love you so much. They all want to see you happy, they all want to see you as a successful person but with a smile. Working 24*7 in a office is not required to be happy successful person but to be happy from your heart gives you the real success. Many times, we hurt people and get success but wining heart is actually a big thing in life, make someone smiles makes you the real successful person. So just, love them who love you and just make them smile who look at you.
