UST wins Awards

UST Global, an information technology solutions and services company for Global 1000 enterprises, has won four awards at the Tata Institute of Social Science (TISS)-Leapvault CLO Awards India, held during the 5th edition of CLO Chief Learning Officer Summit in Mumbai on 9th & 10th October 2014.

The company participated in six categories and was declared winner in four categories. It won the Bronze and Silver awards for the ‘Global Learning & Development Team of the Year’ and the ‘Best Blended Learning Program’. UST Global has also been recognized for its capability in facilitating socio-cultural alignment and IT training to people with limited technical knowledge, under its ‘Step IT Up America’ program aimed at empowering minority women in the US with technical jobs, with its blended learning strategy.

In addition, Dr. Madana Kumar, Head, Learning & Development at UST Global, was conferred with two individual awards, ‘Global CLO Chief Learning Officer of the Year’ Award in the Silver category and ‘CLO Chief Learning Officer of the Year’ Award in the Gold category for his exemplary leadership in transforming the learning and development vertical in the organization and supporting the unprecedented organizational growth and expansion by inculcating a strong learning culture across verticals and geographies. Dr. Kumar was also honored for driving UST Global’s training wing GAMA (G A Menon Academy) to achieve various milestones by being proactive and instilling a sense of urgency in its offerings to enhance the key performance metrics of the organization.

Dr. Kumar said, “It’s an honor for us to be recognized at one of India’s largest congregation of industry professionals.
