Techie harasses female colleagues; two quit

A Software Engineer of a leading company UST Global in Technopark, Trivandrum has been harassing and intimidating his ex-girlfriends who are also his colleagues. In the last couple of months, two of them have resigned while the third has gone on long leave. The best part of this story is that this guy is still out scot-free, having a good time and looking for his next victim.

His modus operandi is very simple – befriend freshers who join the company from outside Trivandrum. Get their confidence by helping them in the new place like getting accommodation, phone connection, etc., basically the friendly neighbourhood guy. When the relationship becomes serious, he dumps her for the next one. But the story does not end there. After a painful and nerve wrecking period, when the girl decides to marry someone else and begin a new life, he starts harassing and intimidating her. Very often, threatening to post their edited photographs on Internet. As colleagues and ex-girlfriends, he has no dearth of their snaps.

Tashika* , the first to quit the software company recollects, “We were good friends initially, but later only I realized that his intentions were not good. After that many problems happened, somehow I escaped but now I am scared”. She felt he could jeopardise her forthcoming wedding. He has even harassed her at office using his official email id.  Techgoss has a copy of  his emails sent using work email.

Next to put her papers was Nikita. When her marriage was fixed, this guy tracked her fiancé on Orkut and started messaging him.

Hi, I am xxxxxx from US Technology, Trivandrum. I am xxxx's friend. I want to talk to you about something very urgent. Pls give me your no: or call me at 98467*****. Pls don’t let anybody know abt this (not even xxxx). Pls respond fast and keep it as secret till I talk to you. 
“

He posted so many scraps that her fiancé almost called off the wedding. She has since gone back to her native place. Meanwhile Sanchika who also went through a similar experience has gone overseas after taking  long leave.

All the three victims have not registered any Police complaint. They are scared that this guy would create more problems as he knows the place and people better. They just wanted to leave Trivandrum. He is known to have the right contacts within the company too and probably that’s the reason why he is so confident. The HR has not taken any action against him saying that these issues are personal.  The HR is well intentioned  but looks like they are failing to see the complete picture where the company is getting a bad name and two employees have quit because of one vicious character.
