Calence:  Ex-Employees Accused Of Theft

The cyber crime cell of Gurgaon Police has booked four employees of an IT company in Udyog Vihar for stealing data and cheating their former employers. The police also raided the company and seized computers. No arrest has been made so far. According to the deputy superintendent of police (DLF), Sumit Kumar, the management of an IT company Calence filed a complaint in the police station that four of their former employees had stolen their data during their tenure. "We have registered a case under section 418 and 420 of IPC and various sections of IT Act against four persons who are now working with another company in Udyog Vihar. We raided the company Tendral in Udyog Vihar and seized computers. We have sent the hard disks of these computers to forensic science laboratory (FSL) for verifying the fact whether these hard disks contained the data pertaining to their former company," the DSP added.
